I eloped. I saved a ton of money – and from today’s TV shows, it seems I saved around $15,000-$70,000! Awesome! But do you know what I messed up on? I didn’t get a good set of printed memories from the moment. We took our own camera, positioned it on a table, set it on a 10 second timer, posed ourselves in front of it and flashed our pearly whites with no idea of how it would turn out. I am forever regretful of that decision. Honestly, I didn’t even consider calling a photographer. He or she could have quietly captured our private moment and we would have never known they were there. Then, we could have taken at least 15 minutes of portraits afterward. I wish I had done that.
