short answer:
When you pay $150 for an hour session, the photographer is actually working 8 hours. That’s really only $18.75/hour. When you factor in the cost of equipment, file storage, taxes, insurance, etc., it’s even less than that. The price of prints, products and files are the sole way for a photographer to make a living.
